Common questions
Does scheduling charge tenants automatically?
No. Scheduled rows are pending placeholders on your ledger. You mark paid when rent arrives — same as recording payment manually.
What if I add a tenant mid-lease?
Scheduling starts from the current month (or lease start if the lease hasn't begun). It does not backfill months you already tracked elsewhere.
Which plan includes scheduling?
Starter plan and above ($29/mo for up to 5 properties). Solo covers manual rent logging, receipts, and late alerts for one property.
How is this different from Buildium or TenantCloud?
Those tools emphasize tenant autopay and property management workflows. RentLedger emphasizes your rent ledger, receipts, and tax exports — scheduling is for visibility and late alerts, not ACH collection.
